Perform mechanical assembly and up-fitting of railroad track equipment in a small team environment of 3-4 people. Work on the shop floor in a company founded by an experienced engineer
ResponsibilitiesPerform mechanical assembly and up-fitting of railroad track equipment.Work with hand tools and power tools.Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams.Ensure all parts are correctly assembled according to specifications.Collaborate with a small team to complete projects efficiently.Lift and maneuver heavy machinery and parts up to 60 pounds.Essential Skills3+ years of mechanical assembly or mechanic work experience.Experience with heavy machinery.Proficiency in reading blueprints and assembling parts.Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.Additional Skills & QualificationsGood resume tenure and overall work history.Why Work Here?Join a newer company that is currently in growth mode. Work Environment
Work on the shop floor in a small team of 3-4 people. The shift runs from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lenexa, Kansas.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00/hr.
