Job Description
You will perform general labor in the shop dealing with glass handling, metal fabrication, assembly, glazing or packaging.
ResponsibilitiesAssemble parts according to print for shipment to customers.Ensure all assembled parts meet customer prints and quality standards.Essential SkillsExperience with hand and power tools including wrenches, drills, and screwdrivers.Ability to accurately use a tape measure, including passing a tape test to the nearest 1/16th.Mechanical aptitude.Minimum of 6+ months experience in manufacturing, machine operation, carpentry, construction, or vocational schooling.Additional Skills & Qualifications2+ years of assembly experience is preferred.Previous experience with Champion Windows, Pioneer Cladding, or Vinylmax is a plus.Open to working overtime (4 10-hour shifts plus overtime on Friday, roughly 48 hours per week).Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a clean, well-lit manufacturing shop divided into departments such as assembly, sub-assembly, glazing, trim, and crating. Designated walking paths are provided in areas where forklifts operate. Safety is highly emphasized, with thousands of pounds of glass moving throughout the facility. All safety rules are posted and strictly enforced, with violations potentially resulting in termination. Employees must wear steel-toed boots, safety glasses, long pants in most areas, and shirts with sleeves.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fairfield, Ohio.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
