Job Description
The Assembler or Truck Upfitter will be responsible for the upfitting of service trucks, vans, and trailers. The primary focus will be on outfitting Mobile hose repair vehicles equipped with hydraulic and industrial hoses and fittings to restore customers' equipment. Responsibilities include removing interiors of trucks, vans, and trailers, such as seating, and installing cabinets, lighting, racks, hose racks, and other stationary products needed to complete a service truck.
ResponsibilitiesRemove interiors of trucks, vans, and trailers, including seatingInstall cabinets, lighting, racks, hose racks, and other stationary products in service trucksPerform mechanical assembly using hand and power toolsRead and interpret blueprints and schematicsEnsure all upfitting tasks are completed to a high standardEssential SkillsMechanical assembly experienceMechanical aptitudeProficiency with hand and power tools, including impact drills and wrenchesAbility to read and interpret blueprints and schematics2+ years of experience in a mechanical field (e.g., car mechanic, truck assembly, truck outfitting or upfitting)Additional Skills & QualificationsElectrical knowledge (24V, 120V single phase, 240V single phase) is a plusAbility to lift 50+ lbsPrevious experience working with heavy industrial equipment is a plusGood attitude and punctualityWillingness to learn and ask questionsShift and Pay$22-23/hr Shift: 7am-4:30pm Why Work Here?

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orange Park, Florida.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
