**Aerotek is Hiring Assemblers!** _$18.15/hr_ **Job Description** We provide products for use in recreational vehicles, trucks and premium cars, pleasure and workboats, and for a variety of other uses. Our motivation is to create smart and reliable products with outstanding design. The Production Assembler will work in various sections of the product line. There are multiple products the line could be assembling i.e. parts for ventilators, parts for cylinder or steering in boats. They have a range of products and TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED on all lines. This position is considered very entry level and technical. Candidates don't need much experience but willingness to learn, patience as this job is VERY repetitive. **JOB DUTIES:** - Working in different aspects of the production line - All production lines will vary but you will be assembling various parts of the same product - Putting on various sized screws (range from very small to size of your finger) - Assembling cylinders, bulbs etcs (products can be up to 50lbs and that's the max) - Tightening screws - Quality checking your product - Keeping your station clean - Dealing with very small parts - Working with hand tools - Lifting, bending, twisting up to 8 hours a day **MUST HAVES:** - 6 months of mechanical experience i.e. production assembly, entry level technician, doing car maintenance. - Must have good hand and eye dexterity: dealing with a lot of VERY small parts and screws at times - Must be mechanically inclined i.e. loves to put things to together, take them apart (just basic) - Must be okay doing a VERY repetitive job. - Must be okay working around machinery that makes noise - not very loud but machines are operating all the time - Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds - this is not repetitive - Lifting, bending, twisting, and standing (bending and twisting) **Shift** + Morning and afternoon available **Work Environment** + Multiple different cells and 3 different buildings + shop environment - can be quite noisy + In a cell could be around 5-8 people at a time, will likely have a partner + Bright on the production floor + Quiet big, lots of people on the floor at one time. + Overall very clean and organized, no spillage or garbage, well maintained This is a 2 month contract position based out of Richmond, BC **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.15 - $18.15/hr. **Workplace Type** This is a fully onsite position in Richmond,BC. **À propos d'Aerotek:** Nous savons qu’il est difficile de trouver du travail, et qu’il est encore plus difficile de trouver un travail enrichissant.
