Job Description

As an Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling different size hoses that meet customer requirements. This role involves using multiple hand and power tools, a wire crimper, and a pressure tester to ensure product quality. You will also use a computer and WMS system for data input and inventory management, perform daily physical cycle counts, and occasionally use calipers for precise measurements. The position requires the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

ResponsibilitiesAssemble various sizes of hoses to meet customer specifications.Utilize hand and power tools, wire crimper, and pressure tester to ensure product integrity.Operate a computer and WMS system for data entry and inventory lookup.Perform daily physical cycle counts of products.Use calipers for precise measurements.Engage in warehouse order picking and basic inventory checks.Maintain a clean work environment, including sweeping the warehouse floor.Operate a forklift to retrieve products from wire racks.Essential SkillsProficiency in using hand and power tools.Ability to read and write in English.Competence in basic math skills.Capability to read a tape measure accurately.Experience with computer systems or RF scan guns.Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.Why Work Here?

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, Oregon.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.30 - $22.30/hr.
