**Job Title: Assembler** **Job Description** We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Assemblers for both the first and second shifts. This position involves assembling sub-components and finished products, executing material processing, and ensuring high-quality production in a fast-paced environment. **Responsibilities** + Assemble and fit metal products using hand tools and power tools. + Operate hand and power tools and overhead cranes to build units + Review assembly diagrams to determine parts and quantities needed, ensuring proper placement. + Lift and fit products together, sometimes lifting 60lbs+. + Work with a team member to fulfill daily product orders. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency with hand and power tools. + Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and schematics. + Experience operating an overhead crane. + Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with blueprints. + Ability to use a tape measure accurately. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School Diploma or GED (required to obtain GED within a certain time frame if not already possessed). + Ability to lift 50lbs+ (40lbs+ independently). + Capability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, climbing, standing, and walking for extended periods. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a temperature-controlled facility that emphasizes cleanliness and organization with a strong commitment to the 5S methodology. The work environment is a clean, organized, and large manufacturing floor where all sections are clearly labeled based on materials and production. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, Virginia. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.75/hr.
