**Job Title: Assembly Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Assembly Technician to join our team in the assembly department. This role involves installing cabinets, racks, drawers, and other components into the back of Transit vans and other trucks, primarily manufactured by Ford. The successful candidate will use air tools to install these components according to customer specifications. **Responsibilities** + Install cabinets, racks, drawers, and other components into Transit vans and other trucks. + Use air tools to ensure installations meet customer specifications. + Work in the assembly department, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. + Perform repetitive movements including bending, twisting, and kneeling to access the back of vans on the assembly line. + Collaborate with a team of 5-10 other contractors to meet production goals. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency with hand tools and power tools. + Experience in assembly and upfitting. + Ability to perform repetitive movements such as bending, twisting, and kneeling. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in general production. + Familiarity with using air tools. + Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment. + Personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses and ear plugs (no steel-toed shoes required). **Why Work Here?** Join a collaborative and supportive team with opportunities to work on diverse projects. It features six large garage doors that will be open during summer to allow for a breeze. You will work with teams of 5-10 other contractors, ensuring a collaborative and dynamic work environment. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kansas City, Missouri. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
