**Job Title: Assembly Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a diligent and skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing cabinets, racks, drawers, and other components into the back of Transit vans and other trucks. This role involves working in the assembly department, using air tools to meet customer specifications. The position requires significant physical activity, including bending, twisting, and repetitive movements. **Responsibilities** + Install cabinets, shelves, drawers, and other components into Transit vans and other trucks. + Use air tools to perform installations according to customer specifications. + Engage in physical activities such as bending, twisting, and repetitive movements to access various parts of the vehicles. + Work on knees and perform bending tasks for most of the workday. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency with hand tools and power tools. + Experience in assembly and upfitting. + Ability to follow detailed instructions and specifications. + Strong attention to detail and quality of work. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in general production and installing components. + Familiarity with upfitting processes. **Why Work Here?** Join a collaborative team environment where you can apply your technical skills and enjoy a supportive and clean workspace. You will be working in teams of 5-10 other contractors. PPE required includes safety glasses and ear plugs, with no steel toe boots necessary. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kansas City, Missouri. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
