**Job Title: Assembler** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable being on their feet for the entirety of the day, able to work well with others, and willing to be cross-trained in various areas. You will be responsible for a 12-step process including receiving, factory reset, automatic test, Wi-Fi test, elevated test, cosmetic clean, cosmetic repair, in-process quality control, kitting, pack out/pallet build, and shipping. **Responsibilities** + Document received items during the receiving process. + Manually press a button for factory resets. + Plug in up to 32 units for automatic testing to determine necessary repairs. + Conduct Wi-Fi tests on units. + Perform elevated temperature tests. + Carry out cosmetic cleaning of units. + Execute cosmetic repairs as needed. + Perform in-process quality control checks. + Kit items for further processes. + Build pallets and pack out kits for shipment. + Prepare items for shipping. **Essential Skills** + Strong attention to detail + Comfortable being on feet for the entirety of the day + Ability to work well with others + Willingness to be cross-trained in multiple areas + Hand dexterity + Punctuality **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with assembly, packing, and repair + Familiarity with test equipment, RF scanners, computers, and power tools + Ability to read blueprints + General labor experience **Why Work Here?** This is a unique opportunity to be part of the start-up phase of a major partnership, offering potential growth into leadership roles such as Leads, Supervisors, and Managers. The location is conveniently close to gas stations and restaurants. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, Illinois. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
