Job Description
We are looking for a meticulous and dedicated Electric Motor Assembler to join our team. The role involves assembling very small electric motors, which weigh around one pound. This position requires high attention to detail due to the small size of the parts and the repetitive nature of the tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in electronic and/or mechanical assembly and be familiar with reading schematics and mechanical drawings.
ResponsibilitiesAssemble and test electric motors using hand and power tools.Follow manufacturing test procedures.Implement continuous improvement ideas for the manufacturing process.Place parts in specified relationships to each other either as sub-assemblies or final assemblies by soldering, clipping, screwing, or fastening all parts together.Rotate to different work stations as production needs require.Pack products into individual boxes and cases, and place them on skids.Inspect and gauge finished parts, make tooling adjustments, and handle and move supplies and materials.Verify that outside labels and unit labels are the same for all packaged parts.Clean equipment and work areas by performing daily and weekly safety checks.Essential SkillsExperience in electronic and/or mechanical assembly.Ability to read schematics and mechanical drawings.Proficiency in machine tool operations and the operation of production tooling and fixtures.Additional Skills & QualificationsJ-Standard certification is a plus but not required.Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.Ability to stand throughout the duration of the shift, bend, twist, and reach.Proficiency in English (reading, understanding, and speaking).Soldering skills are a plus but not required.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work is conducted in a factory setting with an assembly line environment. You will experience the smell of production equipment running. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and involves working with small parts and various hand and power tools.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.76 - $19.76/hr.
