Assembler

Our client, an American agricultural machinery manufacturer, is looking for Assemblers in Edgewood, MD to join their team. The Assembler is responsible for building tractors listed in our client's product catalog. Each model tractor will be assembled per the highest Engineering, Quality, and Productivity standards as described in the work instructions.

The Day-to-Day:

Follow assembly directions from the Production Supervisor, Work Instructions, Engineering Drawings, Quality Documents, and Verbal Instructions.Have basic mechanical knowledge and ability to use basic hand tools and power tools such as sockets, wrenches, screwdrivers, impact guns, torque wrenches, etc.Perform mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic assembly tasks for each build.Capable of moving completed products to the next workstation for the continuation of the assembly process.Read spreadsheets, serial numbers, and part numbers to complete all required assemblies.Responsible for following all safety rules and regulations and wearing all required personal protective equipment.Inspect finished assemblies or products to ensure that the work meets all required company specifications.Complete all work assignments within standard guidelines for quality and productivity.Maintain a clean and neat environment for the assembly area, workstations, and toolboxes.Willingness to learn 5S, Lean, and metrics.Possess basic math skills, understanding decimals and fractions for measurement.Work in a team environment and demonstrate a positive attitude.Have basic computer skills.

Background/Experience:

2-3 years of assembly experience2-3 years working with various hand tools and impactsExposure to a production-based environmentUnderstanding of quality metricsKnowledge of 5S is highly desirable.

Pay Rate & Shift:

$20.00Monday to Friday6:00 AM to 2:30 PM7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
