**Job Title: Assembler** **Job Description** As an Assembler, you will be responsible for the preparation, assembly, and palletizing of frames, picking and sorting materials, and performing quality checks and packaging. You will work according to work orders, technical drawings, and blueprints to ensure all products are assembled and packaged to our quality standards. **Responsibilities** + Frame Assembly (60%): + Refer to work orders and prepare assembly area with correct frames, hardware, and hangers. + Verify that all materials match the work order and assemble frames accordingly, following the frame assembly SOP. + Palletize all frames, cross rails, and hardware, ensuring all materials specified on the work order are accounted for. + Material Picking & Sorting (20%): + Interpret work orders, technical drawings, and blueprints to identify the correct materials needed for assembly, including gauge thickness, frame flange width, frame length, and quantities. + Select appropriate materials from inventory to fulfill production requirements. + Quality Check and Packaging (20%): + Perform a secondary inspection of palletized orders, verifying that the correct materials were used and all parts are accounted for. + Communicate any issues or variances with the team lead or manager. + Package all orders according to the Assembly SOP, recording all necessary shipping information on work orders. + Band, wrap, and label pallets according to quality standards. + Take photos of all finished pallets, ensuring as many parts as possible are clearly visible, and load photos into the proper folder on Monday. **Essential Skills** + Ability to move and lift 50 pounds regularly. + Experience with labor, assembly, lifting, production, and general labor tasks. + Ability to read and interpret work orders, technical drawings, and blueprints. + Experience operating machinery such as forklifts, presses, and shears. + Proficiency in using tape measures. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or GED is preferred. + Reliable, dependable, and punctual attendance is required. + Ability to lift 50+ pounds repetitively. + Some prior work experience in production or manufacturing with large parts (not bench assembly tech). **Why Work Here?** Our company has been built on 9 Principles of Business that have made it an inspiring place to work since 1956. Management offers incentives for early outs based on good weekly performance, allowing you to leave early and still get paid a full day's wage. **Work Environment** The work environment is indoors with swamp cooling, and it can be slightly dirty. You must wear steel-toed shoes from day one, along with jeans and a long-sleeved shirt in winter. The shift runs from 6 AM to 3 PM, Monday to Friday, with a 1-hour lunch break. If production goals are met, you will be allowed to leave early and still receive full pay for the day. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NA, Arizona. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
