**Job Title: Assembler** **Job Description** We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Assemblers for second and third shifts. The role requires repetitive lifting and working in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities for training and growth within the company. **Responsibilities** + Assemble sub-components and finished products using hand tools and power tools. + Operate hand and power tools, as well as an overhead crane, to build heat exchangers. + Review assembly diagrams to determine parts and quantities needed. + Lift and fit metal products together, requiring repetitive lifting of plates over your head. + Work in a fast-paced production and assembly environment, fulfilling daily product orders. + Engage in lifting, climbing, standing, walking, and extending arms for extended periods of time. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools. + Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and schematics. + Experience with overhead crane operation. + Mechanical aptitude and understanding of basic assembly processes. + Comfortable with repetitive lifting and physical tasks. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School Diploma or GED (required within a certain time of converting to permanent employment, with company-funded GED program available). + Ability to lift 50lbs+ (40lbs+ independently). + Capability to walk, sit, and reach for extended periods of time. + Skill in operating hand tools and power tools. **Work Environment** Work in a clean, organized, and large manufacturing floor where all sections are labeled based on materials and production. Shift hours are as follows: Second Shift: 2:15PM - 10:45PM (with possible overtime from 12PM - 6PM on Saturdays), and Third Shift: 10PM - 6:30AM Sunday through Thursday. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, Virginia. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
