Production Manager
Your role and responsibilitiesAssemble and build medium and high voltage electrical vacuum switches utilizing standardized tools and equipmentInterpret production drawings and work instructions, which include wire schematics, outlines, BOMs and wire diagramsUtilize internal systems to access drawings and filesRelay any discrepancies/non-conformance related issues to the responsible individualComplete all documentation and follow specific work instructions as requiredMust be able to work in a team environment while interfacing with team members that include product/manufacturing engineering and other internal/external customersAssist in training other team members as neededMaintain and sustain 5S processes and safety practices, including the use of PPE as requiredAll other duties, as assigned
Qualifications for the roleHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent0-1 years of Manufacturing ExperienceMechanical and/or Electrical knowledge and experienceKnowledge of basic hand toolsBasic computer skills Must possess an energetic and positive attitude as well as be flexible regarding cross training on multiple stations and overtime hoursMust be willing to learn new processes and proceduresAbility to lift at least 40 poundsAbility to stand and or walk or 8 hoursAbility to reach, lift, and pullCandidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
