Description

An overview of your responsibilities:

•\tLead and execute complex assembly tasks, including those requiring advanced mechanical assembly of components and subassemblies.

•\tRead and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and specifications to ensure the correct assembly of components.

•\tPerform advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics to resolve issues in assembly processes and product functionality.

•\tCoach and train lower-level assemblers, providing guidance and mentoring on techniques, safety procedures, and quality standards.

•\tEnsure that the team is adhering to all safety and regulatory compliance standards.

•\tContinuously review and recommend improvements to assembly processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

•\tCollaborate with engineers, designers, and other departments to resolve design or manufacturing issues.

•\tPerform final quality inspections and testing to ensure that the assembled products meet company standards and specifications.

•\tMaintain inventory of parts and materials required for assembly and ensure that stock is kept at optimal levels.

•\tAssist with the setup, calibration, and operation of automated or semi-automated equipment used in the assembly process.

•\tFollow lean manufacturing guidelines, providing continuous improvement suggestions for gained efficiency

•\tAt least 3–5 years of experience in assembly or manufacturing roles, with experience in leadership or team supervision.

•\tExpertise in reading and interpreting complex technical documents, including engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.

•\tAdvanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

•\tAbility to train and mentor junior team members and contribute to team development.

•\tStrong knowledge of quality control processes and manufacturing best practices.

•\tExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.

•\tAbility to work under pressure and meet production deadlines without compromising quality.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
