**Assembler** **Pay: $19-21/Hour** **Shift: 6:30AM-3:00PM** **Location: Auburn, WA** **Job Description** A world-class leader in designing, building, and manufacturing aerospace structures, systems, and components for commercial, business, regional, and military aerospace customers. Our Assemblers will perform pre-assembly tasks such as drilling and deburring parts to prepare them for assembly. They will assemble component parts, including attaching parts together by installing ground studs, attaching nut plates, or bonding. Assemblers will use hand and pneumatic tools, measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers, as well as riveting and countersinking. They will work off of aerospace blueprints and schematics. Training will be provided, but candidates with a mechanical experince good work ethic, and a drive to learn are preferred. **Responsibilities** + Perform pre-assembly tasks such as drilling and deburring parts to prepare for assembly. + Assemble component parts by installing ground studs, attaching nut plates, or bonding. + Utilize hand and pneumatic tools for assembly tasks. + Use measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers. + Perform riveting and countersinking tasks. + Work off of aerospace blueprints and schematics. **Essential Skills** + Prior aerospace assembly experience. + Sheet metal experience. + Countersinking. + Squeezing. + Positive attitude and eagerness to learn. + Mechanical inclination. + Experience using measuring tools like calipers, shim gauges, and height gauges. + Ability to read, speak, and understand English. + Prior experience with hand tools. + Effective communication skills. + Ability to read and understand work instructions and blueprints. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Physical proof of citizenship required by the first day (passport, birth certificate, or permanent resident card). **Why Work Here?** We take care of our people. The environment can be heavy and loud but is organized. The shift starts at 6:30 am and ends at 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn, Washington. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
