Job Description

This role offers both first and third shift opportunities, with the potential for mandatory overtime. This position involves assembling subcomponents and finished products, as well as material processing within the facility. The work environment is fast-paced and requires physical stamina.

ResponsibilitiesAssemble and fit metal products using hand and power tools.Operate overhead cranesReview assembly diagrams to determine parts and quantities needed.Lift, climb, stand, walk, and extend arms for extended periods.Work in a fast-paced production and assembly environment.Essential SkillsExperience with hand and power tools.Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and schematics.Proficiency in using a tape measure.Ability to operate an overhead crane.Mechanical aptitude and basic assembly skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required upon permanent conversion (Company offers a GED program).Ability to lift 50lbs+ (40lbs+ independently).Capability to walk, sit, and reach for extended periods.Proficiency in using hands and operating hand tools and power tools.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

First Shift: 6AM - 2:30PM (Possible OT to 4:30PM and some Saturdays). Third Shift: 10PM - 6:30AM. The work environment is a clean, organized, and large manufacturing floor with clearly labeled sections based on materials and production. The role involves standing, walking, lifting, and using various tools and equipment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
