Job Description
Candidate will use hand-tools such as a drill, handheld router, air nail gun, and other hand tools to perform the final assembly of high-end retail store displays. This position requires the integration of various materials into the store displays, including plastics, metals, and electronics. The candidate will work off blueprints to assemble these products and must be able to read a tape measure to 1/16 inch accuracy.
ResponsibilitiesMatch materials for color, grain, or texture.Trim component parts of joints to ensure a snug fit.Make holes for insertion of screws or dowels.Use glue, fittings, and clamps to perform complete unit assembly.Drive nails or other fasteners into joints at designated places to reinforce joints.Sand and scrape surfaces for finishing.Install hardware such as hinges and drawer handles.Essential SkillsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.Proficiency in using a tape measure (must pass a tape measure test).6+ months of assembly experience, particularly in cabinet assembly or fixtures.Experience in woodworking and building wood products.Additional Skills & QualificationsMust be able to work as part of a team (will work with 1-2 people).Take pride in work.Experience with various power tools and hand tools.Ability to read and understand blueprints.Experience operating large specialty equipment is a plus.Must be willing to work weekends and overtime as needed.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is clean, well-lit, and organized. The facility is air-conditioned and humidity-controlled. First shift hours are 6:30am-3pm, with potential for up to 10 hours of overtime a week and occasional Saturday shifts from 6am-11am. If a second shift is needed, hours are Monday-Thursday from 3pm-1:30am, with overtime on Fridays.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
