**Job Title: Assembler** **Job Description** As an Assembler, you will be responsible for moving around different departments to perform general production functions including assembly, machine operation, and quality control of small metal pieces used in medical surgeries. The job involves working on your feet all day, rotating every 2 hours between tasks, and requires a lot of attention to detail. You will work with small, intricate parts, and the role is very repetitive with large orders. **Responsibilities** + Perform general production functions such as assembly, machine operation, and quality control. + Rotate between tasks every 2 hours. + Stand for the entire shift, performing repetitive tasks with small parts. + Work both sitting at a bench and standing while performing assembly tasks. + Pay close attention to detail to ensure quality control. + Utilize basic measuring devices. **Essential Skills** + Attention to detail + Ability to stand for 8 hours + Basic measuring device usage **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in manufacturing is preferred but not required. + Microscope experience is a plus. + Soldering experience or experience dealing with small parts is a plus. **Why Work Here?** Our structured organization offers numerous opportunities for growth and advancement. The facility is clean, organized, and newer, having opened in 2017. It supports a team environment with visible standards and expectations. Goals and actual output are displayed on boards and computer screens, ensuring transparency and collaboration among the approximately 60 people working at the site. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wallingford, Connecticut. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.50/hr.
