System One is actively recruiting for an Assembler to support a contract position working onsite in Borger, TX. 


Job Duties: Assembles designated products such as stuffing boxes, partially or completely, working at a bench or on shop floor by performing the following duties:  Locates and identifies the type, size, and quantity of all components needed to assemble the product. Assemble equipment according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints using hand and power tools and some measuring devices. Checks completed units, ensuring proper alignment of parts and components, and notes any need for modification. Conducts inspections to ensure proper operation of parts. Notifies management of malfunctions. Assists in troubleshooting, noting the need for corrective action. Conduct hydrostatic tests as required or directed. Performs painting of finished product as needed. Use the forklift to move freight and/or inventory. Other duties as assigned.
Reasoning Abilities Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Other Skills and Abilities Ability to read blueprints Knowledge of shop safety practices Knowledge of quality assurance as normally acquired through in-house seminars and training.  Above average skills in: Retaining Instruction. Demonstrated ability to: Progressively Assemble. General knowledge of: Mechanical applications.

Pay Range: $20.96-25.32ph (DOE)
