ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Assembler will assemble and package materials to specification in a manufacturing and prefabrication facility. *There are no current Assembler positions open but please submit an application for future consideration*
+ Read blueprints and schematics or receive work direction from a Lead Assembler.
+ Gather and layout materials necessary for the assembly.
+ Wire VFD’s, motor starters, and control panels.
+ Complete panelboards, starters, overhead racks, and threaded rod assemblies.
+ Verify accuracy of work through quality control procedures.
+ Maintain safe and clean work environment.
+ Notify supervisor of low inventory or faulty equipment in need of repair.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
+ Previous experience in a manufacturing setting preferred but not required.
+ Mechanical and technical aptitude to learn assembly processes and the tools and equipment used.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and follow additional verbal and written instructions.
+ Ability to follow safety and quality guidelines.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
+ This job operates in a manufacturing environment and is exposed to weather conditions.
+ Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) per facility requirements, including but not limited to, hard toe work boots, safety glasses, gloves and, high visibility vest.
+ This role occasionally uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, filing cabinets, photocopiers and fax machines.
+ Employees are frequently required to sit, stand, and occasionally required to bend, kneel, reach, stoop, or crouch.
+ This position may occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
