Job Title: Aircraft Assembler B

This is a contract position based out of NORTH CHARLESTON, SC.

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Assembler B professionals to join our team. The role involves performing routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and aircraft systems, using manual operations. Candidates should have relevant electrical manufacturing or aviation experience and be capable of working variable shifts.

ResponsibilitiesPerform routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and aircraft systems.Route wire harnesses to supports per blueprint instructions and specifications for the 787 program.Build connectors, splice wires, crimp, and terminate wires.Install connectors to receptacles and electronic components.Perform repairs and rework processes to incorporate authorized changes outlined by engineering instructions.Select correct parts, materials, tools, assemblies, standards, and hardware.Install, fit, fasten, align, and adjust structural components using production and engineering prints.Report job constraints such as errors caused by workmanship, defects in parts, materials, assembly procedures, tools, and sequences.Perform functional checks and incorporate authorized changes as outlined by leadership.Remove and/or replace installed components and related parts.Essential Skills1+ years of experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions, reading, and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications.Experience with aircraft structural parts fabrication, assembly processes, and procedures.Experience with conventional lathe, milling, precision measuring, power, pneumatic, and hand tools.Experience using software applications for internet navigation, email, Microsoft Suite, and/or other specialized computer applications.Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, schematics, engineering dispositions, and instructions.Experience with hydraulic, ICS, PECS, duct installation, IFE, interior decorative repair, waste, and potable water systems.Additional Skills & QualificationsCompleted aviation-centered education or equivalent training.Experience with basic computer systems and programs.Ability to stand for long periods, work in elevated or confined spaces, and perform frequent overhead work.Safety-conscious with the ability to use safety equipment such as safety glasses, safety harnesses, and respirators.Exemplary housekeeping and Foreign Object Debris (FOD) standards

Pay Structure:

Assembly B1 will be Taxable only at $25hr OR $26hr. (1-2 years of Experience OR completed aviation-centered education).

a.\tSPC $204 or $153 (better to push for the 25 rate)

4.\tAssembly B2 will have a Taxable rate of $32hr for Local Candidates. (3-5 years of Experience)

5.\tAssembly B2 will now offer the below: (3-5 years of Experience)

a.\tPay: $13 BR: $45

b.\tOT: $45 OTBR: $60.75

c.\tPer Diem $168 a day for 5 days

d.\tSPC $239 for local/ $142 for per diem candidates
