**Job Title: Assembler** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Assembler responsible for unbundling wires and components/connectors, kitting, and forming assemblies of wire harnesses. The role involves standing at a billboard, placing wires, connecting them together, and performing electrical tests. Additionally, you will tape wires together and ensure proper assembly of wire harnesses. **Responsibilities** + Unbundle wires and components/connectors and perform kitting tasks. + Stand at a billboard to place and connect wires. + Form assemblies of wire harnesses and perform electrical tests. + Tape wires together to ensure proper assembly. **Essential Skills** + General production and assembly experience. + Ability to perform manufacturing and general labor tasks. + Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. + Capability to stand on feet for 8+ hours a day. + Basic math skills (adding/subtracting). + Basic computer literacy, including the ability to navigate a tablet, open files, and read emails. + Ability to read a tape measure. + Ability to pass a mechanical test during the interview. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in manufacturing and production environments. + Comfortable with general labor tasks. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy yearly reviews with potential pay increases, as well as additional pay increases when transitioning to direct employment. The work environment is not climate-controlled, with heating provided in the winter and higher temperatures in the summer. The first shift runs from 6am to 4:30pm, Monday through Thursday, with occasional overtime on Fridays. The dress code requires a t-shirt, pants without holes, rips, or tears, and closed-toed shoes. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $18.00/hr.
