Job Description: Final Assembler is responsible for mechanical and electrical assembly/integration of materials, devices, and products in accordance with drawings, SOPs, and other written documentation Duties: + Assembles products or sub-assemblies by following drawings, diagrams, or work instructions. + Operates hand and power tools and production equipment to build specified product. + He/She is responsible for mechanical and electrical assembly of systems or products as well as maintaining general tools and equipment. + Prioritizes work according to verbal direction, or by following the Production Schedule and works towards customer ship dates and internal goals. + Communicates with team members, engineering, sales, and other departments within the company to ensure customer requirements are met. + Ability to multi-task and prioritize is a must. + Demonstrates strong problem solving skills and attention to detail. + Conforms with ESD policy and safety procedures. + The goal for this individual is to have zero OBF's to the performance of their job function. Requires: Education: High School degree or equivalent required. Associates degree in computer hardware related field preferred. Experience: Three years of experience in hardware field. Ability to build a computer from the ground –up is helpful. Physical: Walks, stands, occasional seated position at the computer. Must be able to manipulate small objects and visually scrutinize hardware. Miscellaneous: May be required to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed. Employment is contingent upon passing a required background screen, pre-employment drug screen and physical which will be conducted upon acceptance of an offer.
