Assembler I

Summary: Seeking an Assembler I for production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.

Job Requirements:

Basic job knowledge of production-related systems and procedures

0 years of experience required

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws

Ability to work from visual aids, method layouts, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets

Job Responsibilities:

Perform repetitive to nonrepetitive production assembly operations on modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables

Conduct picking and packing operations

Set initial layouts using hand/power tools

Make continuity checks on work in process and completed units

Conduct quality inspections according to specifications

Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test prototype assemblies as needed

Support manufacturing operations including assembly, machinery processing, packaging, and distribution of products

Operate automatic or semiautomatic machines in continuous production/processing operations

Report malfunctions or abnormalities in machines; recommend/make adjustments as needed

Involved in shipping, receiving inventory control or storage of products in distribution centers

 

 

 Pay: 15-20

Pay Details: $15.00 to $20.00 per hour
