**Job Description Summary**
This position is responsible for assembling/packaging components to make subassemblies, spare parts and manufactured product. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED with some assembly experience preferred but will train the right person. Basic knowledge of measuring devices and the ability to read and follow basic wiring instructions. Additionally, good hand-eye coordination and the ability to handle and manufacture small and delicate parts is required.

**1st Shift: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday-Friday.**
This position is responsible for assembling/packaging components to make subassemblies, spare parts and manufactured product. The following duties and responsibilities are intended to be representative of the work performed by the incumbents(s) in this position and are not all-inclusive. The omission of a specific duty or responsibility will not preclude it form the position.
+ Work from documented procedures, work instructions, engineering drawings, or sketches
+ Cable Assembly
+ Perform in-process inspections
+ Perform final quality check
+ Perform other related duties as assigned
+ Follows written procedures and work instructions.
**KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:**
+ Effective interpersonal communication skills.
+ Competency and understanding of the English language. Speaking, reading and writing skills.
+ Basic knowledge of measuring devices (i.e. ruler, calipers) and hand tools.
+ Ability to follow written directions.
+ Good hand/eye coordination and ability to handle and manufacture small and delicate parts.
**ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP:**
+ This position reports to the Operation Supervisor who reports to the Operations Manager.
**PRINCIPAL CHALLENGES AND PROBLEM SOLVING:**
+ This position requires accuracy to detail and an ability to work to documented procedures in an ISO 9000 environment.
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ High School graduate, preferably with some training in assembly preferred but we will train the right person.
