Summary
This position is responsible for operating equipment used to cut, bend, form, and assemble various plastic parts.  

Job Duties 
1) Operates machines to cut or score materials 
2) Bends, forms, and assembles various plastic parts using heat sealing equipment 
3) Inserts and secures various items into plastic containers using hand tools and hoes 
4) Performs routine maintenance on production equipment as directed by supervisor 
5) Maintains a safe, clean work area 
6) Complies with safety regulations 
7) Wears protective clothing as required 
8) Maintains good housekeeping practices 
9) Recognizes hazards and defects 
10) Sets up and operates metal forming equipment 

Qualifications: 
High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred 
Ability to read/write and interpret documents in English 
Basic math skills 
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 
Previous manufacturing experience preferred 
Strong organizational skills and time management skills required 
Must possess effective business communication skills and ability to communicate well in both oral and written communications 
Demonstrated problem solving skills required 
Basic computer skills required 
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly 
Ability to stand throughout an eight-hour shift 
Ability to sit at a desk for long periods of time 
May be exposed to chemicals, loud noises, vibration, hot/cold temperatures, inside/outside weather conditions, etc. while performing duties of this position.
