Assembler II
**Job Title: Assembler II** **Job Description** As an Assembler II, you will be responsible for assembling machine parts and components using a variety of hand and power tools. You will follow mechanical blueprint instructions to assemble machines, verify detailing, and ensure accuracy. You will also be required to advise the Lead or Supervisor of any problems, work with minimal guidance, and scan jobs into the Made2Manage (M2M) and traveler systems. Adherence to all safety procedures in handling equipment and parts is essential. **Responsibilities** + Assemble machine parts and components using hand and power tools. + Follow mechanical blueprint instructions to assemble machines and verify detailing. + Advise the Lead or Supervisor of any problems. + Assemble machines with minimal guidance. + Scan jobs into the Made2Manage (M2M) and traveler systems. + Follow all safety procedures in handling equipment and parts. + Meet deadlines. + Move parts and components to various departments as per traveler instructions. + Perform other related duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in reading blueprints. + Experience with power tools and hand tools. + Ability to assemble large parts. + Experience in assembly processes. + Welding skills, including TIG welding. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to move parts and components to various departments. + Capacity to perform physical activities such as pushing, pulling, stooping, squatting, sitting, and lifting. **Why Work Here?** We offer high tenure, consistent business, and guaranteed 40 hours per week, ensuring job stability and work-life balance. **Work Environment** This position is located in a heavy manufacturing environment that is not climate controlled. The role requires the use of correct body mechanics during physical activities. The work schedule is 1st Shift from 6:00am to 2:30pm, with occasional 1-2 hours of overtime daily. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pomona, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
