The Assembler II (Rigimesh) is responsible for set-up and operation of equipment for welding, epoxy, and bubble-point repairs.

This position is part of the Pall Aerospace Air value stream and will be located onsite in New Port Richey, FL.  The first shift work schedule is Monday thru Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM and overtime is routine.

This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required. Any offer of employment is contingent upon Pall obtaining the necessary employment visa and export authorization, including, if required, an export license from the applicable U.S. government agency.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Set-up and operate equipment to weld, epoxy, and repair products. This includes measuring, building and assembling components per standard operating procedures from schematics, blueprints, engineering orders, and job sheets using basic measuring equipment (i.e., calipers, scale, thermometers, high gauge, etc.).

Complete all necessary paperwork as required including scorecards, hazard recognitions, routers and data, Follower Tags, ATP, Slitter Sheets, etc.

Work with and mix chemicals, oils, and solvents as stated within the standard operating procedures. Cross train within the plant to meeting customer demands.

The essential requirements of the job include:

High School Diploma or equivalent (i.e., GED).

One (1) year of experience performing spot and seam welding. Basic understanding of the use of calipers to make precision measurements, and basic understanding of shop math. Ability to read and understand blueprints, verbal and written work instructions.

Ability to work overtime as assigned.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

Ability to bend, lift, stand, sit, and twist for long periods of time and required to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.

Ability to work with solvents, oils, and other chemicals.

Good eye and hand dexterity.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Working on a production line in an Aerospace manufacturing facility.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
