**Job Title: Assembler III** **Job Description** This is a family-owned company, and we are busy and ready to hire quickly. As an Assembler III, you will be responsible for assembling cash drawers off process sheets using hand tools and drills. You will primarily use screw guns, basic hand tools, and measurement equipment to assemble small cash drawers. The assembler ensures that the assembly quality and workmanship meet our company’s and customer’s standards and processes. **Responsibilities** + Read and interpret work orders, process plans, drawings, and diagrams required for assembling cash drawers and related products. + Assemble electrical and electronic equipment according to specifications. + Perform inspection and testing of cash drawers and cash drawer products per customer requirements. + Mentor and assist new assembly workers as requested by team leaders or supervisors. + Complete all tasks and duties as assigned by team leaders, supervisors, or production managers. + Maintain a clean and safe workstation, identify and correct safety issues. + Learn and maintain knowledge of all workstations, tools, and fixtures used in the assembly process. + Comply with the company's quality system. + Fill and complete parts orders per work orders. + Identify parts by item key part number and visual inspection. + Complete all required forms and documents. + Follow all safety guidelines. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Experience testing and assembling electronic devices. + Ability to perform highly precise work with strong attention to detail. + Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity. + Proficient in speaking, reading, and understanding the English language. + Demonstrated ability to accurately assemble parts using written, verbal, and visual instructions. + Skilled in using power and hand assembly tools. + Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs consistently. + Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or equivalent. + 1-2 years of experience in electronic assembly or manufacturing. **Why Work Here?** We are a family-owned company that offers a great opportunity for internal advancement. You must expect to stand the entire day on an assembly line, though some stations allow you to sit on a stool. The shop has air conditioning but can sometimes get warmer because of the ovens. Candidates will rotate assembly positions every 2 hours to keep the variety of work fresh. This is a tobacco-free environment as of January 2015. No tobacco is allowed on the property. The shift is Monday to Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, with mandatory overtime from 5:00 am - 2:30 pm Monday to Friday. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
