Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Assembler with strong attention to detail and the ability to work well with others. You should be comfortable being on your feet for the entirety of the day and willing to be cross-trained in various areas.
ResponsibilitiesDocument received parts and componentsPerform factory resets by manually pressing a buttonConduct automatic tests by plugging in up to 32 units to determine necessary repairs (cycle times 60-90 minutes)Execute Wi-Fi testsPerform elevated temperature testsCarry out cosmetic cleaning and repairsConduct in-process quality control (IPQC)Assemble kitsPack out and build pallets, including palletizing for AT&T in kitsPrepare items for shippingEnsure parts are scanned at every step of the processEssential SkillsStrong attention to detailAbility to work comfortably on your feet all dayEffective collaboration and teamwork skillsWillingness to be cross-trained in multiple areasExperience in assembly, packing, and quality inspectionSkills in repair, soldering, and refurbishingProficiency with test equipment, RF scanners, computers, blueprints, and power toolsAdditional Skills & QualificationsHand dexterityPunctualityWhy Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a brand-new facility with a locker area and a cafeteria equipped with refrigerators and microwaves. The site is located in Elgin, IL, conveniently close to major roads, gas stations, and restaurants.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, Illinois.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
