Job Description

Assemble components into medical devices using appropriate tooling and equipment in accordance with approved manufacturing procedures and ISO & FDA regulations. This role involves aligning components, operating machines, performing quality checks, maintaining records, and ensuring production efficiency.

ResponsibilitiesAssemble components into medical devices using appropriate tooling and equipment.Align components and assemble them together according to torque specifications.Load, operate, and unload machines to break in cams.Perform assembly process functions including glue pads, paint, and Masterbond and Loctite assembly components.Identify and resolve work and assembly issues with the appropriate personnel.Perform in-process quality checks on sub-assemblies and finished products.Complete assigned jobs in accordance with production timelines.Maintain accurate records, certifications, and documentation for order processing related to quality, work in progress, and test results.Maintain work flow, job packets, and routers through the assembly process.Maintain appropriate product inventory levels.Perform preventative maintenance as needed.Maintain a clean and orderly work area.Meet and maintain established standards for scrap and indirect labor.Meet and maintain established production efficiency and effectiveness standards.Document all production data in the ERP system and required paperwork.Complete all documentation per ISO and FDA requirements.Train and perform additional operations specific to secondary operations to be a contributing member of a cross-functional team.Utilize drawings and blueprints to assemble components into medical devices.Essential Skills2 years of mechanical assembly experience.1 year of hand/power tool experience.Ability to read and write in English.Ability to follow build sheets/blueprints.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with medical device assembly.Familiarity with ISO and FDA regulations.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The role involves bench work, requiring sitting for 8+ hours a day. The facility is extremely clean and climate controlled, with departments including engineering, machining, maintenance, assembly, quality, polishing, and warehouse. The dress code requires steel-toed shoes and safety glasses on the floor, and plain-colored shirts and jeans/work pants.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00
