**Now Hiring Assemblers** All Shifts Available!! **Job Description** Under general supervision, the Assembler will be responsible for assembling components, including sub-assemblies, manual components, and electrical components, contributing to the completion of various products. This role requires adherence to safety, quality, and quantity standards and following directions and blueprints to meet product specifications. **Responsibilities** + Assemble components including sub-assemblies, manual components, and electrical components. + Adhere to safety, quality, and quantity standards. + Follow directions and blueprints to meet product specifications. + Meet work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends. + Read and understand procedures, safety sheets, instructions, and policies in English. + Carry out verbal instructions and communicate effectively in English. + Maintain good housekeeping and ergonomics practices. + Participate in workplace organization and follow training procedures, including cross-training and teamwork. + Demonstrate attention to detail and speak up if any issues occur. + Learn new processes, systems, and equipment. + Work well with others in a diverse setting and participate in team improvement. **Essential Skills** + Ability to meet work schedule and overtime requirements. + Proficiency in reading and understanding procedures, safety sheets, instructions, and policies in English. + Effective verbal communication skills in English. + Ability to adhere to safety and housekeeping practices. + Capability to follow training procedures, including cross-training. + Attention to detail and safety awareness. + Willingness to learn new processes, systems, and equipment. + Ability to work well in a team and conflict resolution. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or GED. + Ability to lift/carry 10-50 lbs. frequently, and occasionally up to 75 lbs. + Prolonged stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, sitting, standing, and/or crawling. + Hand grasp ability and coordination of hands and/or eye/hand/foot. **Why Work Here?** Join a team dedicated to quality and safety, with opportunities for growth and cross-training. A commitment to safety and teamwork is essential. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Portage, Michigan. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
