Thermo Fisher, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking an Assembler to join their team. As an Assembler, you will be part of the production team supporting the assembly of high-quality products. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Assembler

Location: Asheville, NC

Pay Range: $19.80 per hour

What's the Job?

Selects components, aligns, and assembles them in proper sequence by drilling holes, adding rivets, screws, bolts, braces, tape, cement, or solder to meet specifications. Applies wiring harnesses, sensors, and other electrical components in the cabinet as per Sequence of Events (SOE). Inspects parts during sub-assembly and at key points to ensure that the unit meets specified quality standards. Cleans and packs the final product using approved chemicals while ensuring safe handling and proper PPE is used. Reorders raw materials and finished parts using the Kanban inventory system to maintain inventory accuracy.

What's Needed?

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. Experience using a wide range of hand tools, including drills, rivet guns, and saws. Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams. Strong attention to detail to ensure quality standards are met. Flexibility to perform various duties and support operations as requested.
