Description:The Work
This position of the Quality Engineering Associate Manager will support the RMS Stratford facility Assembly and Flight Operations (AFO) on 1st shift. The position will report to the AFO Quality Engineering Manager in the RMS Sikorsky line of business. This position will be responsible for the Quality Engineers that support quality related issue on the Army Blackhawk and Medivac UH/HH-60M, Navalhawk MH-60R, Air Force Combat Rescue Helicopter HH-60W, and Marine CH-53K finals assembly and flight operations. This role will provide leadership through identification and implementation of process improvement initiatives in these areas that support the Quality Organization’s key performance measurements, vision and strategy. Additional responsibilities include:
• Managing collaboration efforts with DCMA for contract statement of work compliance to the quality management system, non-conforming material, and corrective actions
• Managing quality metric reporting for monthly CCAB activities
• Supporting the execution and achievement of all applicable Lockheed Martin, RMS and RMS
Sikorsky business objectives.
• Performs technical evaluations including product requirements, specifications, models/designs, drawings, and procedures.
• Collaborates with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, supplier quality and customers on quality related issues to ensure quality standards are in place.
• Engages in product failure investigations, material review board decisions and corrective/preventive action.
• Ensures corrective measures meet acceptable standards and/or are compliant with requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
Appropriate degree from an accredited college,
or equivalent experience/combined education.
Demonstrated ability to make critical decisions,
set priorities and provide succinct direction in a
dynamic business environment.
Experience developing and maintaining positive
working relationships with customers.
Demonstrated Full Spectrum Leadership skills.
Strong communication skills
Desired Skills:
Master’s Degree from an accredited college.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
