This role allows you to **get connected with the client** while also **solidifying your future opportunities with Adecco** . **Job Title:** **Assembly Technician (1st Shift)** 📍 **Location:** Auburn Hills, MI ⏰ **Shift:** 1st Shift 💰 **Pay Rate:** Competitive based on experience **Responsibilities:** + Build and assemble various **pilot/prototype interior automotive trim parts** (instrument panels, doors, floor panels, overhead consoles, and hard trim). + Perform **plastic welding (sonic welding)** and assembly using screws. + Use a variety of tools including **mills, lathes, band saws, routers, miter saws, sanders, and drill presses** . + Modify and rework existing parts or fixtures based on **engineering drawings** . + Communicate **resource and product requirements** to team members. + Assist **Engineering and Build Coordinators** in troubleshooting build issues. + Ensure **on-time delivery** of products based on customer deadlines. + Follow **shop processes, procedures, and best practices** to maintain high-quality standards. + Maintain a **clean and organized work area** , adhering to **5S standards** . + Attend corporate training, workshops, and required seminars. **Skills & Qualifications:** ✔ **Three years' experience in a prototype build environment** ✔ Strong **technical and mechanical aptitude** ✔ Ability to work **independently and within a team** in a fast-paced environment ✔ Proficiency with **basic technician tools** (micrometers, calipers, wrenches, etc.) ✔ High attention to **detail, quality, and continuous improvement** ✔ Knowledge of **Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)** **Additional Requirements:** A **background check is required** for successful candidates.
