Job Title: Assembly/Builder

Job Description

We are seeking an Assembly/Builder to join our team in the door shop. This role involves the assembly of doors using hand and power tools. The successful candidate will lift and move doors weighing between 60 and 80 pounds, operate a forklift, and work towards maintaining a safe and clean work environment. This position offers room for growth, allowing employees to advance and take on more complex tasks using various power and pneumatic tools.

ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and resolve work problemsWork with a team to create and build productsPalletize and prepare finished orders for shipmentMaintain a safe and clean work environmentEnact company policies and abide by safety regulationsRead and understand orders as receivedAssemble pre-fabricated doors to meet work order specificationsReview all finished goods to ensure accuracy and quality of constructionUse power tools such as mills, saws, and joinersUse pneumatic tools such as nail gunsEssential SkillsHigh School diploma or GEDAbility to regularly lift/move/manipulate up to 60 pounds and occasionally up to 100 poundsAbility to read, write, and communicate in EnglishAbility to perform all job functions safelyExcellent attention to detailAbility to read a tape measurer accurately and consistently to 1/16”Ability to read and interpret verbal instructions, diagrams, and documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measurement, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimalsStrong problem-solving skillsAdditional Skills & Qualifications1 year of experience with hand and power tools (Preferred)Military experience preferredConsistent work historyWhy Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00
