Human Resources Manager

SUMMARY:

The Lead Assembly Line Leader position is responsible for providing leadership to the Assembly Line Leaders on the assigned shift and assist and support the shift Supervisor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

Perform basic line leader duties as outlined in the Line Leader job description.Assume leadership role with other line leaders on assigned shift.Direct line leaders and assist them with problem solving, trouble shooting, achieving production goals, line efficiencies and quality as specified in the work order.Understand and utilize production run equations including cycle time, flow time and pace conveyor calculations.Support Supervisor in achieving plant goals as well as divisional and company goals.        Oversee the shift occasionally in Supervisor's absence assuming other salaried presence.Promote and support company safety program.Make scheduling decisions with lines and crews on a daily basis.Maintain housekeeping standards.Assist with training of new line leaders and retraining of existing line leaders as needed.Liaison with other departments such as quality assurance, warehouse, maintenance, and project coordination to ensure ongoing team effort and problem resolution.Responsible for the overall Safety and cleanliness of equipment and area.

Work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Overtime is required.Perform other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This is not a supervisory position but does provide leadership to Assembly production line leaders and acts as a liaison between production and other departments, as needed.
