Assembly Engineer 2- TS/SCI with Poly

In this role you will support challenging, mission-critical projects that make a direct impact on the nation’s security and intelligence mission. This is an exciting opportunity where you will be assisting in the manufacturing of the next-gen devices for the warfighter. **Responsibilities:** + Responsible for optimizing processes used in microelectronic manufacturing to develop and perform processes for single and multiple component assembly efforts. + Coordinates day-to-day operation of assembly tools. + Performs engineering sustainment functions and supports component level packaging, printed circuit board (PCB) assembly, and PCB design engineering efforts. **Requirements:** + Perform standard microelectronics package/component selection. + Design manufacturing fixtures to facilitate the assembly of complex microelectronics. + Demonstrate knowledge of IPC workmanship standards for PCB assemblies **Clearance Required:** + Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph **Minimum Education:** + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or the Physical Sciences. + In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, four (4) additional years of experience for a total of nine (9) years of experience plus registration as a Professional Engineer or successful completion of the state Engineer in Training exam. **Minimum Years of Experience:** + Five (5) years of experience in microelectronics design and assembly, semiconductor and integrated circuit quality assurance, and materials/science/fabrication. \#javelin Pay Transparency Verbiage Amentum’s health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you and in the things you care about. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
