Assembly Mechanic 1/2
Job Description The Assembly Mechanic 1 or 2 is responsible for building low to medium complexity assemblies. The ideal candidate will be able to produce parts which have already completed first articles verification; Collaborate with other Assembly Mechanics to produce medium complexity assemblies and is capable of the bonding and fabrication of a majority of subcomponents and lower-level detail parts. Assembly Mechanic 1 Responsibilities: * Learn to problem solve and troubleshoot producibility challenges; * Build low to medium complexity assemblies and lower level detail parts; * Exposure to processes within potting and bonding work center (Fill and fair, install insert and edge pot); * Exposure to custom fabrication of parts, applying décor per finish requirements; * With minimal assistance perform complex repairs on components as required by the customer; * Exposure with shop equipment drill motors, pneumatic tools, band saws, drill presses, various tool grinders, Rivet gun and bucking bar, C-squeeze, ratchet wrench, nut runner; * Exposure in use of Chemical solvents, sealants, coatings, primers, adhesives, paints and special finishes; * Exposure to electrical and structural part drawings; * Other duties as assigned We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
