Assembly Mechanic
Job Description

1st shift $21/hour M-Th: 6am-4pm, Friday: 6am-2:30pm2nd shift $23/hour M-Th 4:3pm-2:45am Friday: 3pm-11:30pmPotential for voluntary or mandatory Saturday work based on production needsChance to read and interpret assembly blueprints, schematics, and specifications manualsAffordable health insurance you can actually use, including $5 copays, $5 prescriptions, and free Telehealth services

What you'll do as a Final Assembly Mechanic:

Inspect, operate, and test completed products to verify functioning, machine capabilities, and conformance to customer specifications.Position and align components for assembly, manually or using hoists.Align and fit structural assemblies manually, or use cranes as necessary to position assemblies for joining.Set and verify parts clearances.Rework, repair, and replace damaged parts or assemblies.Read and interpret assembly blueprints, schematics, and specifications manuals, and plan assembly or building operations.Assemble hydraulic systems and support structures; and install components, units, subassemblies, wiring, and assembly casings, using rivets and bolts.Maintain and lubricate parts and components.Verify conformance of parts to stock lists and blueprints.Fasten and install piping, fixtures, or wiring and electrical components to form assemblies or subassemblies.Cross train in other areas including electrical, hydraulics, and welding

Work Experience

The preferred candidate might:

Experience in inspecting, operating, and testing completed productsExperience in positioning and aligning components for assemblyExperience in setting and verifying parts clearancesExperience in reworking, repairing, and replacing damaged parts or assembliesExperience in maintaining and lubricating parts and componentsHave overhead crane, hand bandsaw, jigsaw experienceMechanical abilities, ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Must have:

Manufacturing and Automotive experienceHigh School Diploma or GED from an accredited school or institution (will be verified by 3rd party)Pass Drug Screen and Background Check
