Machinist Level 2
As a Machinist Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in operating and maintaining our machining equipment to produce high-quality parts. You will work with a team of skilled technicians and collaborate with other departments to meet production goals and customer requirements. Your expertise in machining processes will contribute to the efficiency and success of our manufacturing operations.
You will report directly to our Machining Supervisor and you'll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on a work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the quality and precision of our manufactured parts, ensuring that they meet or exceed customer expectations. Your attention to detail and technical skills will be essential in maintaining the highest standards of quality and productivity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Operate and maintain machining equipment to produce parts according to specifications
• Set up and adjust machines for optimal performance
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and efficiency
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines or parts
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet production goals
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

YOU MUST HAVE
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a machinist or in a similar role
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining machining equipment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

• Technical certification or degree in machining or a related field
• Experience with CNC machining
• Knowledge of different machining techniques and tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues
