Assembly Mechanic Level 5



As an Assembly Mechanic Level 5 here at Honeywell, you will be accountable for assembling and testing complex mechanical components and systems. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products by following strict assembly procedures and conducting thorough inspections. Your expertise in mechanical assembly and attention to detail will contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality products to our customers.

You will report directly to our Assembly Supervisor and you'll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on a work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and performance of our products by assembling and testing mechanical components and systems. Your ability to follow assembly procedures and conduct thorough inspections will ensure the delivery of high-quality and reliable products to our customers.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•   Assemble complex mechanical components and systems according to assembly procedures
•   Conduct thorough inspections to ensure the quality and reliability of assembled products
•   Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues
•   Work with cross-functional teams to improve assembly processes and procedures
•   Maintain accurate documentation of assembly activities

YOU MUST HAVE

•   Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical assembly
•   Strong knowledge of mechanical assembly procedures and techniques
•   Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
•   Proficiency in using hand and power tools
•   Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

•   Technical certification or vocational training in mechanical assembly
•   Experience with precision measurement tools
•   Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing ethics
