Assembly Operator - 2nd shift

Pay: $17.00/HR plus shift differential 

3rd shift hours: 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM

Responsibilities:

Execute secondary operations per instruction on production orders including but not limited to trimming labeling, flame treating, assembly work and verifying everything on the order is completed to satisfaction. Stacking cans that can be up to 29 lbs. Quality inspection of the product for correct color, holes and any other product defects that may occur. Effectively communicate with Operators and other co-workers regarding work orders and problems which may occur with quality and mold issues. Accurately complete production paperwork as may be required. Wear all the required personal protective equipment. Keep work area maintained per safety standards. Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned by the supervisor/manager.

The functions named below include having to push carts to the flaming station.

Lifting cans to dump extra shavings and stack. Bending to put on stop bars, labels, lids, and wheels. Pushing stacks of 10 cans to designated areas. Maintain floor area clean by sweeping throughout the shift.

Qualification:

18 years or older. Be able to work on your feet for long periods of time. Able to lift between 25-50 lbs. Warehouse experience is a plus. Previous Assembly experience is preferred. Be able to pass EHS training.
