We are looking for a dedicated Assembly Solder Technician III to join our team and contribute to the production of cutting-edge electronic devices.

What You Will Do
 

Expert Assembly: Assemble and repair a variety of electronic units using prescribed repair techniques.Component Management: Identify correct parts, components, wires, and materials needed for assembly and repair.Precision Soldering: Solder electronic components using industry-standard techniques and tools.Component Replacement: Remove suspect and failed components and install new components accurately.Machine Operation: Operate assembly machines and ensure proper functioning.Chemical Handling: Measure, mix, and apply chemicals and adhesives according to safety and operational guidelines.Technical Proficiency: Read and interpret technical data including component maintenance manuals, assembly instructions, and engineering prints.Communication Skills: Effectively communicate work status to team members and support staff, ensuring seamless workflow.Documentation: Write clear and concisely and maintain accurate records.Computer Skills: Utilize proficient computer skills and knowledge of office software applications.

Qualifications You Must Have
 

Typically requires a HS Diploma or GED with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience or In the absence of a HS Diploma or GED, 4 years of relevant experience.Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here:  https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62

Working Environment:
 

You may occasionally need to provide weekend and holiday support to meet customer needs.In your role, you will be exposed to:Products of various weights and sizesEquipment with moving partsChemicals that may emit fumesTo minimize safety risk to you and product, you must wear static-control and personal protective equipment.

Physical Demands:
 

Due to the nature of our work, you will need to be able to perform the following functions, with or without reasonable accommodationDistinguishing colors and meeting vision requirementsBending, stooping, reaching, turning as needed to place units in test stands, pick up totes, place units on rack, etc.Using hands for extended periods of time to perform testing and troubleshooting tasks (e.g. grasping, holding, picking, placing, twisting, fine manipulation)Sitting or standing at a workbench/test stand for extended periods of timeLifting up to 25 pounds unassistedTransporting product with or without product carts

Qualifications We Prefer
 

Certification: Must be able to pass a solder certification coarse and meet Class III standards.Experience: Prior electronic assembly experience in the aerospace industry

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
