**Key Job Responsibilities:**
- Assemble with emphasis to detail
mechanical/electrical of satellite components, sub-assemblies, and integration
of final vehicle assembly fabricating and/or processing materials into complex
manufactured products in a Cleanroom and ESD control environment
- Build solar modules and solar arrays
- Ensure lab equipment is maintained and
calibrated
- Supports some preventative maintenance
activities on test equipment and data acquisition systems
- Identify equipment requirements process
improvements, maintain floor stock inventory
- You will independently execute and prioritize
work to meet company deliverables
- Execute test procedures for component and
system level testing maintenance
- Receive shipments and coordinate deliveries
with recipients (Using forklifts, pallet jacks, etc)
- Your work may include contributing to
improving SOPs and safety procedures
**Responsibilities**
+ Champion safety requirements in all designated zones and work locations.
+ Assemble and test a variety of avionic LRUs, electrical-mechanical assemblies, fiber-optics, and PCBAs with attention to detail.
+ Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated.
+ Support preventative maintenance activities on test equipment and data acquisition systems.
+ Identify equipment requirements and process improvements, and maintain floor stock inventory.
+ Independently execute and prioritize work to meet company deliverables.
+ Execute test procedures for component and system level testing and maintenance.
+ Receive shipments and coordinate deliveries with recipients using pallet jacks and kit carts.
+ Contribute to improving SOPs and safety procedures.
**Essential Skills**
+ High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
+ 3 years of relevant high-traceability manufacturing experience in aerospace, medical, or a related field.
+ 2 years of hands-on work experience in Electrical-Mechanical Assembly, Final Integration, and/or Harness Integration.
+ 1 year of experience in a fast-paced production environment.
+ 1 year of hands-on experience with precision torque measurement and inspection devices such as automated and manual torque wrenches, torque drivers, calipers, micrometers, profilometers, optical inspection devices, and multi-meters, as well as standard hand tools.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Aircraft Powerplant (AP) and/or Avionics certification/license.
+ ASE certification and/or equivalent experience.
+ CFOT certification and/or equivalent experience.
+ 1 year of experience reading, interpreting, and working from engineering documentation and/or drawings.
+ Experience working with FOD, ESD-sensitive hardware, and clean room requirements.
+ Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
+ Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high-paced, challenging work environment.
+ Prior military service is a plus.

**Work Environment**
This position is based in a manufacturing environment that builds satellites. Shift times are estimated as follows: 2nd shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, and weekends from 7 AM to 3:30 PM or 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM. The role involves standing for long periods, climbing ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching, with the ability to lift up to 25 pounds unassisted.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00

**Workplace Type**
