**Assembly Tech** **Pay: $28/hour** **Shift: 3:00PM-1:30AM M-TH** **Location: Kirkland, WA** **Job Description** As an Assembly Tech, you will play a critical role in assembling and testing avionic electrical-mechanical assemblies and fiber optics. You will be responsible for maintaining lab equipment, supporting preventative maintenance activities, and executing test procedures for component and system level testing. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will be essential in ensuring high-quality deliverables. **Responsibilities** + Champion safety requirements in all designated zones and work locations. + Assemble and test an assortment of avionic electrical-mechanical assemblies, handle and install fiber optics and related hardware. + Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated. + Support preventative maintenance activities on test equipment and data acquisition systems. + Participate in process improvements and maintain floor stock inventory. + Independently execute and prioritize work to meet company deliverables. + Execute test procedures for component and system level testing. + Receive shipments and coordinate deliveries with recipients using pallet jacks, kit carts, etc. + Contribute to improving work instructions and safety procedures. **Essential Skills** + Ability to work all shifts, including days, evenings, staggered shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed. + Flexibility to commute between site locations. + Physical ability to stand for long periods, climb ladders, bend, grasp, sit, pull, push, stoop, and stretch as required. + Ability to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in mechanical assembly and production. + Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic team in a cutting-edge manufacturing environment where you will build low earth orbit satellites. The scheduled shift is from 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM, Monday to Thursday. The ability to work multiple shifts and adapt to schedule changes is required. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Redmond, Washington. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $26.50 - $26.50/hr.
