Elwood Staffing is partnering with Vestas to hire Production Team Members who play a crucial role in the assembly of Nacelles.

Direct Hire position$21.25 to $30.00 /hourFull Time work availableVarious shifts available (Monday through Thursday from 05:00pm to 03:30pm)Efficiently assemble components utilizing both hand and power tools. Operate manufacturing equipment with a focus on safety and efficiency. Adhere to Process Work Instructions and manual production processes, ensuring parts fit and are assembled correctly, including but not limited to bolts, screws, shafts, and bearings. Achieve production standards for various tasks within the allotted time frame.Handle materials by lifting, positioning, and/or removing them from the work area as needed.Manage materials using a bridge crane for loading, stacking, and transportation purposes.Interpret schematics to accurately assemble machine components. Collaborate with fellow assemblers to construct the final product.Test and inspect components to ensure they meet our standards of uniformity and quality.
Assembly Technician Qualifications:
Strong mechanical aptitudeA minimum of 2 years of Machinery, Skilled Trades, or Manufacturing experienceExperience working with large machinery Familiarity with standard power and hand toolsMechanical AptitudeAbility to read and follow written instructions in EnglishHigh school diploma or GED or equivalent is requiredApplicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
