**Job Title: Assembly Technician- Thermal**
**Shift:**
Monday- Friday
6:00 am - 3:00 pm
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated Assembly Technician- Thermal to join our team. This role involves performing basic mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies, operating hand and power tools, and ensuring all work is accurate by reading and interpreting work instructions. The ideal candidate will interact effectively with management and team members, perform standard testing and troubleshooting, and maintain quality standards throughout the assembly process.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform basic mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies.
+ Conduct leak tests.
+ Operate hand and power tools to complete assemblies.
+ Read and interpret work instructions to ensure accuracy of work performed.
+ Interact with management and team members to encourage effective communication on the production floor.
+ Perform standard testing and minor and major troubleshooting.
+ Ensure quality standards are met throughout all steps of the assembly process.
+ Perform other duties as required.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency with hand and power tools.
+ Experience in mechanical and electronic assembly.
+ Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
+ Strong troubleshooting skills.
+ Experience with cable and harness assembly.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in a non-manufacturing environment is considered.
+ Cable and harness assembly experience is a plus.

**Work Environment**
Work is performed primarily in a standard manufacturing environment. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. The role requires the ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push, pull, grasp, lift up to 25 lbs. (or more with assistance), move arms, hands, and fingers, and wear personal protective equipment where applicable. The work environment is subject to frequent interruptions, electrical hazards, moving mechanical parts, exposure to chemicals and debris, and noise levels. The ability to stand/sit for sustained periods and use a phone and computer for extended periods may be required.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hayward, California.
