Assembly Technician
**Job Title: Assembly Technician** **Job Description** The Medical Assembly Technician performs product development work on medical devices in the Development department to support objectives aimed at providing goods and services that meet customers’ requirements for quality, quantity, and timeliness. The primary role involves working directly with manufacturing leads to build pilot production quantities of new products, following written and demonstrated procedures, and conducting testing of products and components. A variety of techniques, tools, instructions, and equipment will be used to create products and components. **Responsibilities** + Follow the system, including all applicable SOPs included in the Training Matrix. + Produce small, assembled parts according to procedures (both verbal and written). + Work independently with minimal supervision and complete assignments accurately and timely. + Maintain confidential information in accordance with company policy. + Adhere to safety requirements. + Operate equipment such as adhesive dispensers, vertical shrinkers, braiders, tipping machines, drilling, punching, and measuring devices to assemble catheters and parts. **Essential Skills** + Experience with cleanroom environments. + Proficiency in assembly and mechanical tasks. + Experience in medical assembly. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Experience with medical devices and prototype assembly. + Inspection skills. + Proficiency with hand and power tools. + Ability to work with microscopes. + Manual dexterity with hand tools. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $31.00 **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
